Community consultation workshops were held in three Perth metropolitan locations: Cockburn, Joondalup and Perth. Regional workshops were held in Albany, Broome, Bunbury, Geraldton, Kalgoorlie, Karratha and Port Hedland. Thank you to everyone who provided a submission, completed the online survey and/or attended a workshop.

To guide further actions to reduce the impacts of single-use plastics, the information and 9,464 submissions provided during consultation have been analysed and considered alongside scientific, evidence-based research.

Feedback from the consultation found that 98 per cent of respondents support further actions to reduce single-use plastics in Western Australia. The State Government considered this information carefully and is implementing short and medium-term actions to phase-out single-use plastics through a range of regulatory, community-based and voluntary actions.

All submissions received during consultation are available below and have been edited to remove personal or sensitive information.
